Get in TouchMs. Kendra Butler Is a Senior Associate with SHEER Research & Advisory. She is a social consultant with expertise in social policy focusing on social protection systems, social service programming, and social development projects. She has a decade of professional experience gained through technical level positions in the government sector. She has supported the government of Belize by providing technical expertise to develop the vision and direction towards a national comprehensive and sustainable social protection system. Particularly, she worked as a Social Protection Consultant to design a one-time emergency cash assistance project in collaboration with United Nations Joint SDG Fund, and drafted and presented a revised Relief and Supplies Management Plan for the operationalization of adequate food, relief supplies and services for the affected population in the event of a disaster. In collaboration with UNICEF, she also coordinated several local events with key stakeholders on child protection system, measuring child poverty, launching the SDG Joint Programme in Belize, among others. Most recently, she has been leading the management and coordination of two Livelihood Enhancement Projects consultancies being implemented in Belize. Kendra holds a Master of Social Policy with Merit from the University of York with a focus on Designing and Implementing a National Social Protection System.
She has won various awards, including the Chevening Scholarship Award (from the UK government’s international scholarships program), Belize National Youth Award, and Belize National Women’s Month Award.
